Yes. I used to go every year. As a matter of fact, we were looking forward to the line up this year because my wife & I were really bummed out we didn't make it last year. Last year Coachella had some really good Mexican bands. The Mexican bands playing this year come to LA quite often and they usually do free or $10 shows. Plus, we've seen them many times. On the EDM side, I've seen many of them and they're all artists I wouldn't go out of my way to see.

Dre & Snoop together are the only ones who I would really like to see, but not worth a weekend admission plus expenses.

I didn't go to PVD because I got booked and the money was very good. I'm already booked on Feb 11th, but I'm gonna see if I can play early so I can go to Avalon afterwards. It's pretty hard for me to go out now because I'm pretty much booked all the time.

we're thinking of flying into vegas a few days before. spending a night or two there, getting to LA, chilling for a night there then making our way to indio for the festival. if any of that interests you let me know - the more, the merrier!

not sure about vegas but def let me know about the LA side of things leading up to chella.
my friends are trying to figure out if they're gonna spend time here before or after chella.
i live pretty much adjacent to the airport, anyway, so it's perfect for when ppl come around haha

Weekend 1 will probably sellout in a couple hours, maybe days. I'd assume weekend 2 will not sell out, but it's coachella and they released an etards dream lineup so you never know

Every year they sell more and more, the reason there are two weekends is to deal with the scalpers which were just fucking insane last year

I agree that the "names" are dubstep and EDM pop. Oh well.


I do agree that there are some hidden gems (Martin Solveig, Modeselektor). I'll just go see Radiohead twice, and enjoy my time in the sun with my friends.
