& yes, any one of seasons 4 through 8 is greater than the combined works of Shakespeare, but I have thoroughly enjoyed more episodes of this show in recent years than those of other sitcoms, animated or otherwise.

The show has had high points and low points. I think recently the quality has been improving, but I don't think there has been a point where it has gotten so bad that I would 'give up' on the show.

I might not look forward to new episodes as much as some other shows, but it still rounds out my 'Sunday Night Cartoon' lineup rather well.

Simpsons / Family Guy / American Dad / Cleveland Show still regularly enter my list of shows to watch on Sunday night. Each series does have it's stinker of an episode here and there - but there are usually enough good / decent ones that I still watch them regularly.

i havent watched any new episodes in like...6 yrs.
But The Simpsons stands as my fave show ever.

Not yet! How'd I miss the boat on this? Watched 2 clips & it's gold. Reminds me of a subdued Harvey Birdman, which is another all-time fav. The pacing in that one is genius.

The episode wasn't hilarious (as expected) but I was definitely satisfied! I think it'd be really cool if they permanently lived off the grid. It'd add a new dynamic to the show and make it fresh again.
