S2 is legit, great piece of gear for the cost ($434 after tax)

Only gripe is the jog-wheel response seems kinda slow to take off, like they intentionally tried to emulate the slow take-off of vinyl

Don't try to emulate the feel of vinyl with a little stupid jog-wheel. Just give it good action and a quick response time like CD decks. Getting used to it still I guess

also Traktor's service center activation made me feel unclean

Haha, yeah the service center activation is a pain in the ass, especially if you're gonna use it on an offline machine.
