Anyone know of a good place that is open 24/7 around the Ice Palace or Space? I know its the 'hood' but there has to be some good 'after clubbing eateries' nearby.
We would usually hit Sopranos Pizza on 6th st and Washington and grab some fruits/drinks at a corner store after shows rather then stick around in downtown. Man I miss Sopranos just thinking about it!
I'm pretty good with eating junk stuff but that goes out the window during WMC, especially after dancing five hours and walking miles.

At times especially early mornings, any place with drinks or snacks will do
On second thought I think I'll just stick to the usual and grab something back in SOBE...a bit more reliable there

If you guys are staying down at Coconut Grove, I suggest you try out Greenstreet. http://greenstreetcafe.net/ I have always made it a point to stop there when I've gone down to Miami to broadcast sports. It has pretty good decor and a nice outside streetside dining area for people to eat and people watch. Food is good and the wait staff is alright. Prices are affordable. As far as music, they generally play some ambient downtempo stuff. I prefer hitting up this spot in the evening.
If you want something by the water one day, I suggest you try Monty's which is also in Coconut Grove (but not necessarily in the heart with all of the other restaurants). This is by a marina right on Biscayne Bay. Great seafood here with cheap beer prices. No website but here are some Yelp reviews. http://www.yelp.com/biz/montys-raw-bar-coconut-grove . This is a fantastic spot to sit by the water and enjoy lunch before going out for an afternoon, evening, and night of partying.
And if you're over in South Beach and can't decide what you want to eat, I am a huge fan of Big Pink. They have the largest menu I've ever seen for a restaurant and you can order pretty much anything. Outside dining is also available there as well. http://www.mylesrestaurantgroup.com/ (Select Big Pink to look at a scrolling menu). This is a great all-hours spot. I really like it because it can satisfy any food craving any time of the day. It's about a block or two off the water in South Beach.
EDIT: I forgot to mention another place I've been to that I actually would NOT recommend. I've been to Gordon Biersch in Brickell http://www.gordonbiersch.com/locations/miami-fl . It's pretty much on the upper end of casual dining and everything that came out of the kitchen was greasy. The food was kinda meh and was average at best. So I would suggest that you don't really go out of your way to eat there if you're in need of a meal.
I hope this helps. I know that when I travel to a city, I always like to eat someplace local as you can eat at a chain restaurant anytime.

La Ventana (Las Tablas is the old name) on 710 Washington Ave is pretty cheap and good foods. Steaks/planteens, etc
it says reservation only so not sure how hard it is to get something during WMC week but thought i would throw it out there

guys- you gotta try out Garage Bar/Filling Station off SE 2nd St just past the Courtyard Marriot Downtown...the food there is Incredible and cheap draft beers. I ate there every day during the week. Its a hole in the wall place but damn, the fooooooooood was delicious. One of the menus that makes you drool with such unconventional choices. Such as a burger with pulled pork on top with peppered bacon and 3 different bbq sauces to dip it in. AND the taters, yessssss! get the taters
