^^Fair opinion.
I've pretty much seen everyone on that Garuda lineup multiple times. No sense hearing the same sets if there are/were other alternatives.
As for Tritional; won't be to harsh and keep the comments to myself. I love their non vocal old stuff like Utopia and Essance of Kia. As for there latest sets...if you like current A&B style with some 'performances' you'll have a great time.
I'll likely be there at Space Friday, sure it will a fun time though! |
I do love their old stuff too...'Lights Over Austin'...anyone.
Saw Tritonal at Pacah NYC during Ezoo and they tore the joint up. Limited vocal cheese. Dropped Suzu, Lifted (mat zo), Rebound, Broken Down (ronski speed), etc. Now they could have moved more towards the vocal end of the spectrum in their live sets, but I'm sure looking forward to hearing their newer non vocal tunes 'Turbine', 'Slave (Tritonal & Ben Gold Club Dub)', and Awakenings (Tritonal Remix). All solid non vocals.
We will just have to wait and see, I suppose. And for the record, am not attending the party to see Emery, please people, the lineup is rather extensive and goes way beyond Gareth.

Look, plenty of people post their party lists here and tons of them don't even listen to trance. Yet I don't point and say "This party is not as good as so and so party." Everyone has different tastes and I understand that, but I don't tell people that the party they are attending is worse than my choices. You say the line-up for Garuda is awesome, I think otherwise. Whatever though its your money, if you were to pay for my party week then you can tell me what's up.

A lot of artists today are just victims, not having control, and they're not free. And that's pathetic. If you start being dependent on money, then money has to reach a point to fit your expenses. - Thomas Bangalter
