total was £880 gbp for decks and mixer

Decks are £330 each and the mixer was £220

The stanton str8-100's come standard with blue strobes and blue LED's to show u when the pitch is at zero
There is another version of these decks that have the more usual 'S' shaped tone arm being the Stanton st-100
Mine have a straight tone arm which i prefer as it means less wear on the vinyl and more area on the vinyl to manipulate.

They are of course direct drive with a very good torque

The mixer is 3 channels, with 9 inputs 3 being phono for decks.
my only complaint with the whole set up is that the cross fader on the mixer is slightly too loose feeling for me but it was designed for scratch DJ's who need the x-fader loose like that for rapid changes between the channels.
The channel faders themselves can be swapped out for rotary faders, a nice touch.

yeah, stantons are aiight. my buddy has your decks, and i prefer the feel of my technics over the stantons.

and, as for straight tone arms, i've heard conflicting stories about record wear, some say it's more, some say it's less, who knows.

all i know is, i love my decks.

my mixer is the vestax PCV 275, basically the same as yours, but a different brand. can't put rotary faders in it though

my total was $1488 canadian for the decks and $300 american for the mixer.

so, mine was about 800 GBP total (not including needles and slipmatts). wow, that's way cheaper, especially considering my decks and mixer are worth more comparitvely. stuff in europe is so much more expensive than here, i feel sorry for you man.

oh BTW, that's a wicked record you got sitting there Space Manouevres - Stage One, i LOVE that track..
