Nobody on here said anything bad about the use of MDMA. They're saying it's kind of pathetic for a 50 something year old washed up pop star to openly comment on it to try and seem cool to all of the kids.

Okay I see your point. I agree the comment was kinda lame. But I think the excuse was diplomatic. And with regards to her being washed up - I can't think of another female artist who has had as successful a career as her. Gaga will be forgotten in 2-3 years.

I don't think Gaga will be forgotten so soon. Her fame came at the perfect time for it to be more permanent: this is, perhaps, a 'youtube' era and she's managed to seal up the top spots on youtube for most watched videos with ease. I don't think that sort of thing will go away within a few years.

You're right. And maybe my exaggeration was to highlight the short attention span of today's listeners. However, I think its far too premature to start making comparisons. Sure people can say Madonna is washed up but shes 50! I don't even want to imagine GAGA at that age.
