And one of the best times to find a refurn is either when the new model comes out (a lot of refurbs are just people who bought the newest one andthen changed their mind/went for a different model etc) or when mac have some of the previous model version and need to shift them now a newer version is out (as mac don't officially sell last seasons/gen models, they just list them as "refurb").
