Deadmau5 rants must be calculated though, I refuse to believe it's dumb luck. Look at how much attention he gets every time he opens his bitch mouth and he must be LOVING it. He just trolled every dj in the world and in the process put his name out there for everyone to know. If someone hadn't heard of Deadmau5 already, they went straight to youtube to find out who he was and now they do. Knowing the average American's taste, he'll sell a lot more records now! He doesn't need DJs buying his music, pfft. No publicity is bad publicity, even if every dj in the world hates him now, him causing this outrage puts his name in everyone's mouth. Isn't this how rockstars used to become famous (by their antics rather than their talent)? Welcome to America's EDM. If that's not effective advertising, I don't know what is. I just think everyone should just agree on NOT directing any energy towards this asshole. Him getting attention by trolling the intarweb = the terrorists have won.

It seems like many ”fools” spent a lot of their time on here bashing on them (DJs) that they're so sick of it...perhaps that's what accounts for about at least 30pgs in the ezoo thread..which I never really cared for so I never even bothered with it bc, like occupy wall street and such, there was no voice that stuck out and I'd be just complaining/bitching like the rest and it wouldn't go any further than that.

Now, that's besides the whole point here. I'm not bringing gossip or news, simply showing that finally, a voice, and a respectable one in the game, had the balls to say something about the matter bc in all reality its disrespectful- and I don't think disrespect ever dies out, if you ask me. And if you think he's, Richard, a fool..than my friend, the real fool here is yourself.

Nobody is thinking here Richard is a fool. I love him for always saying what he thinks and I'm sure it's one of the reasons why his fans love him too. We actually joked about what I just said last night on FB and he agreed... Every time I see him or have convos on FB with him, we talk about some douchebag that doesn't keep it real. And he's right every time, we have a big laugh every time we talk trash about these assholes. I also agree that what he said had to be said, but to give Deadmau5 any more attention would be a waste of time and giving him what he wants. He's doing exactly the same as trolls on message boards, only at a much larger scale; and what's the golden rule re: trolls on the internet? Don't feed them. Many entertainment news declared a blackout on Paris Hilton because she's an attention whore. Why can't Pulse Radio/Resident Advisor etc do the same? Who cares about Deadmau5/SHM/Paris Hilton/Avicii/Afrojack anyway? They are NOT part of our community. The mainstream EDM revolution will eat itself out from oversaturation; it happens all the time with every cultural phenomenon and this will be no different. "EDM" won't stick around much longer just like Bieber fever will be over in a couple of years when his fans grow up. This garbage is pop anyway and everything in pop is disposable: a couple of hits and you're done. I can't wait to never hear from them again.

I srsly doubt Deadmau5 is doing this for publicity. Apparently, he thinks he's like God or something since he feels bold enough to diss on every Dj in the world and, further more, even his fanbase- at least that's what I get when he says he just wants to put on a life jacket and get away from this shipwreck. He's blatantly acknowledging that he's doing this for the money by just feeding what seems to be "new" to the people that are so oblivious to his puppet show...like my uncle says, everyday there's a sucker born, you just gotta find him; and as I said before, you can't knock the hustle.

But let me get something straight...so, this d-bag has been doing his thing which many have bashed him for a couple of years already. Everyone (respectable Djs) has had the decency to at least keep their mouths shut, even though they've had personal feelings (obvious)- cool. However, Deadmau5 just crossed the line by disrespecting many people and having the audacity to say the things he has.

So I ask you now- if someone steps on your shoes, would you not say anything back? Publicity or not, Mr.C gave it to him and I respect him even more for not letting some d-bag step on his shoes without saying anything back- "FUCK YOU IN EVERY ORIFICE.", how about that for publicity!
