They should. A so called "wheezing" sound, which is pretty easy to hear.
I have to agree with Jenny. What's up with the X-ray...I'd order an Xray if I suspected either a tumor or pulmonary emphysema.
Oh, good, this means we can probably rule out asthma and focus on a possible tumo-- wait, what!?
Time to make haste and hurry up with these exams

Relax, if it was a tumor, it would have shown up on the xray and would have manifested entirely different.

I've yet to do the radiology bit, actually
Now that we've also ruled out asthma, I also believe I should give the treadmill operating doctor (when I did the cardio-thingy with a difficult name) some credit. She said it was possible I was too tense and I wasn't breathing properly due to stress. Because I may not breathing properly, I sometimes grasp for air when I don't need it - so it feels like I can't inhale as much as I should.
It would make a hell lot of sense, as I'm pushing myself because of a series of lectures I'm giving... but, we shall see. I intend to have the x-rays taken in a few hours

The only other thing, and it may be a stretch, is that you have a deviated septum.
The only reason I suggest this is because almost the same shit happened to a friend of mine. Similar symptoms, out of nowhere. For years the docs were saying "You're fine, it's likely anxiety", and trying to get her to take antianxiety meds. She FINALLY got a referral to an EENT from her nurse practitioner and the EENT took one look at her (seriously, he could tell just from the visual exam) and knew that she had a deviated septum - obviously confirmed with more assessment.
So yeah, she's having surgery to correct it this summer and she's very relieved to finally have an answer she knows makes sense.
Again, bit of a stretch but you never know!

It definitely would, but I'm pretty sure it isn't necessary.

Sounds like a bad case of too much pubic hair if you ask me.

Yeah, and that's great actually. My friend had to wait 2 fucking years before someone finally did what she was asking for all along. Fucking doctors and their knowitall/god complexes.

Surgery for a deviated septum? oh please, I know I'm not Dr. House but according to the American Association of Proctologists, most fags walk around with obliterated rectums and they still manage to walk it off. Fuck your friend, tell the bitch to man up.
