yea i think trance is crap at the moment. armin is the only dj i know thast playing new songs and he usually throws in the same stuff over and over probably because he cant find any new goood tracks to fill his show. i think trance is getting boring, its not fun to dance to, its not good party music in the u.s.a., is often difficult to mix harmony wise, and is overall frustrating for a dj. i like progressive house/trance better. its alot better sounding on the decks and people enjoy it more at parties. i also think alot of you people here are tools and dont even know what you like.

Hrmmm.. so basically what you are saying is that you moved to more progressive stuff because you cant mix trance?

I think most of the Top DJs just dont have or make the time to pick out quality music anymore.. most of them are just sent promos and they spin them. Good trance is out there.. you just have to find it

no i can mix trance but it is boring and im getting tired of it. i am now mixing jungle. i dont even know why im responding to this since i dont give a shit

Trance is NOT DEAD...never died. The music press has claimed for yrs that it's dead, never died. Major Clubs spinning trance, major deejays spinning trance, trance cd's and compilations are selling well. It's not dead.

thats my problem exactly...i'm stuck in the midwest in a bunch of cornfields and the closest major cities are chicago and indianapolis....and since i'm 15 and all the big djs like pvd decided to go to over 21 clubs, the only rave ive been able to go to is sasha and digweed last year......i want to move to holland

i think i trance is prolly gonna go underground.. i mean for some reason i want that to happen.. its sorta like breakdancing. okay in the 80's it was everywhere and now its like not really big. theres like now breaking scene at my school. and for some reason i like that. sincee im like the only breaker. cuz i hate people doing the same thing as me. i like to be different from everyone else with their skateboards and punk clothes... ughhh.

trannce is sooo the best. but i must admit there is allot of crappy trance.. i dunno bout you guys but something i cant stand is that really dumb is anthem trance and like happy hardcore.. that stuff is major poo.. i think people misunderstand trance because of this.. cuz all their hearing is like fragma and darude..

heh heh ... yeah because trance is COMMERCIAL (well, some of it is anyways)! just look to pvd post for an angel e-werk club mix. and compare it to LSG's the hive (which has a bit more creativity to it).
