I think i've played it once, maybe twice it's not the kind of track you like to play whenever you can, it's just curious.

Don't you understand the concept of loss leader? The *tracks* may not be making much, or any, but with every released decent track fame grows enough to result in like 20 new DJ bookings. Googled his DJ dates, he's playing 8-10 sets a month plus about 10 festivals this year. Definitely not a starving artist.

but we are talking about tracks aren't we.

I don't think i ever said he was starving or poor. He is just like most indie artists. Surviving. He is making about as much as any local dj that has a residency.

This is a stupid conversation.

surely not, we should talk in which city and in which venue... you can hardly make 1,000$/month in a 500-1000 cap venue. In smaller cities maybe there are 1-2 venues like this. And with a 1,000$ salary you don't buy that pieces of gear.

He's been quite a big influence on me this guy and as far as I can tell his setup looks about the same as it did about 2 years ago.

I'd like those mixcubes.
The Fantom he has as he likes a go to synth for stock vanilla sounds like an accordian, and also to just switch on and play.

This track really just slowly draws you in like few others can>
