ive never tried using highs to fine tune... i usually use the phases on the bass becuase bass waves are much longer so the phase is easier [for me] to deal with... i just try to make the bass waves add to eachother constantly so that they oscillate together... obviously i dont think about it, i just change the pitch so that it sounds right, i dont necessarily listen to a particular part even though out of phase bass lines tend to jump out at me more than anything. i guess ill try the highs...not now, though, since i have an organic chemistry exam tomorrow, and a chem lab report and intermediate classical mechanics exam on thursday : \ thanks for the tip though.
