Just so i can make this perfectly clear.... Im a Canadian and i make a very good living.... i pay all of about 2% more in income tax than i would in the states but for that 2% look at all the benefits i get....

-Canadian pension plan (when i retire)
-Old age security (when i retire)
-Government funded healthcare for life (Ranked 7 places higher than the US for health care performance by the WHO)
-Subsidized university education (6k per year vs 16k per year for a comparably institution in the US)
