I'm not the kind person to listen to everything from start to finish most of the time but when I but this on at 4am I'm pretty much garuanteed to head nod off for at least 30 minutes. The drums are obviously top notch but what really sets Source Direct apart is the misty early morning atmosphere. They came up with these absolutely killer mysterious and atmospheric pads and strings and they totally make their tracks. The jazzy bassline is absolutely spot on as well obviously.
everything fits into a genre, regardless of its style. and your point?!
i did say lets not get hung up on genre, you actually quoted me on that, then.....

You said that, and then proceeded to post a bunch of progressive trance that would fit into the zillion other thinly veiled "Post some prog trance" threads we get every week.
because all progressive tracks are the same style...
this type of track happens to work best in progressive form, so i wont go out of my way to post some oddball 36min track to prove i'm at the cutting edge.
