If there wasn't big money to throw around, then there would be the possibility of the big time events Like EDC Las Vegas for example , which is probably the best event for EDM in the world. At one of the best venues in the world.

TomorrowLand looked great, but who wants to be all muddy and shit. I like my nice controlled events, with huge productions and a great happy crowd, with easy access and great weather.

Yeah, they control whats happening, cuz they got the cash and the customer base to do whatever the hell they want.

Shit like EDC is what is fucking it up. I personally liked when the scene was this "sub-culture" that not a lot of people knew about. It made it feel special. If I happened to run in to someone at an event (small), like a co-worker or someone I never expected, it made the experience of seeing them there more special. It created this mutual respect for one another. Nowadays, everyone is doing EDM. Kids are dressing up like Deadmau5. There was the stupid movie called "Pitch Perfect" where the main character was some type of producer... producing god awful music btw...
