anyone have a clue who's playing at the Avalon for NYE? Since Exchange got diggers...who else can they get?

It's funny. Giant has already announced events in January (1/3 and 1/24), but have nothing posted about NYE.

Digweed in LA for NYE has become a great tradition, but why does it have to be at Exchange this time? Ugh, I hate that venue. Haven't been for a while but am I the only one who thinks that half the NYE Exchange crowd will leave once they realize the DJ isn't going to play anything commercial?

Will we ever see Diggers play 8+ hour sets again at Avalon?

i was there for mark knights 4 hour set and it was hella dope. the place was packed and the vibe was good. the venue blows tho if it gets too crowded which it ill be.

Giant needs to do another Giant Village or any of those block parties they used to do for NYE.

I don't think that will happen as they don't have the money to do it. In the past, they were able to get investors but the year that Giant Village was cancelled due to weather, a lot of people lost money.

keep in mind TCM doesnt play TCM music anymore, they play (not very good..) electro-y music

this is coming from someone who has always LOVED TCM and who has seen them live, older DJ sets, and who has seen 3 of their new "style" dj sets and listened to quite a few of their new radio show
