Posting some favorites!

This guy has made a lot of really solid stuff. My favorite album of his is "36 - Hypersona", but pretty much every album is good imo.

This one is from Benn Jordans "space themed" ambient album, and in my opinion one of the stand-out tracks.

Ulver is a norwegian band with black metal roots, but in the late 90s they started doing electronic stuff. The link above is their album "Lyckantropen Themes" in its entirety, and seeing as the whole record it is based around variations of one little theme I think this makes for a better listening experience.

Secede and his label-mate Kettel were pretty much responsible for starting my interest in ambient, and this track is a gem from his 2003 album "Bye Bye Gridlock Traffic".

Some nice posts here.

Steve Roach recently broadcast an excellent live set for the At Waters Edge podcast.

From what I've listened to in this thread so far, I think this one hits the vibe I'm looking for the best.

Two other random favorites of mine. The second one is a bit pseudo-orchestral but I still dig it.

Post labels too fellas, I'm currently looking for new material and the only label I got on my belt is NM5D. I too want to make another ambient mix.

Electolux has some fucking great stuff.

I'm slowly working my way through ASC stuff. So much quality music to shift through, there, it's taking me a while.
