oh no.

I have it all set now.

At 6:50AM it will play "Hyperactive - Tanz br Derchen"...
this is the perfect song to wake up to.. 165 BPMs flying in your face, with some old guy singing, and the bass turned up full on my 8" floorstanding sub (beside my bed).

If you have never heard this song, go download it or watch this great flash video (which is hillarious): http://www.rathergood.com/vid

You dont need an alarm clock program (someone already said this earlier)..

all you do is go into start> accessories> system tools> scheduled tasks.

then you make a new task, select it to open your mp3 or winamp playlist or whatever you want, and set it to play at the exact time, what days of the week you want, when to auto close the task, and you can set it to WAKE UP THE COMPUTER FROM SLEEP MODE to preform the task.

accompany this with the http://www.worldtimeserver.com/ program so you're window's clock stays in line, and your good to go.

this way I dont have to listen to the blarring loud fan of my computer when I'm sleeping, as it will be in sleep mode.

Thanks! I forgot all about that. You're a big help. (Uninstalling that alarm clock program)...

but a question, does it run off of the window's clock time? cause that time messes itself up often. I dont want to set my alarm on here, and have it wake me up an hour later

also, does it activate your computer if it's in a "sleep mode" type of situation?

Yeah, it does run off your windows time... I once had my time go off by like 8 hours. (lucky I still got up for work. )

And yeah, it turns off my screensaver, and stuff, but if you are in an power saving mode, I am not too sure.... I never kick into power saver, mines set to turn on the screen saver only.

It's a great little progie, but like I said, it's pretty minamalistic. (that's why I like it. )
Maybe I'll try out some of the above mentioned alarms.
