I like the song a lot, so I may be biased, but it's fucking annoying when people either say:

Ferry's Worst production ever.

I've played the song for people, and those who didn't like it that much still appreciate the production and melody. They thought it was alright.

Spend your time lambasting Darude and Ian Van Dahl, not Ferry.

I think Ligaya is a decent follow-up to Gouryella, Walhalla and Tenshi. Indeed it's not all that special, but it is a quality production IMO.

I have never been a huge fan of Ligaya, but considering everybody always claims it is an absolute stormer in a club (where it belongs) I probably shouldn't say it sucks as bad as I have. Either way, I don't think it deserves any major accolades.

Watch out for Nitromethane - Time to Die, track of the year!

The track has an immense amount of energy, and turns an average set into a stormer for 5 mins. It's getting played by everyone, because the reaction it gets in the club is phenomenal.

Um, have you noticed that there's an equal amount of Ligaya Bashin sheep to that of Ligaya Worshiping sheep?

"Hey guyz, let's all make fun of Ligaya", then everyone throws a comment... Phhh... Cheese? You don't honestly say that... Everyone and their dog says that this track really reminds them of FC's remix of "Barber's..." and that it's a practical copy of Souvenir De Chine... So they are cheese too I guess. Are the other Gouryella track cheese? Cause this is kinda still Gouryella style you know.

Ferry's worst production? Half of you will change your mind when I will mention "Punk", the rest just never listened to more than 5 of his tracks.

Being labled "Gouryella" is not only the reason people go and like it, it's also the reason many of them go and say, "Look at me, I'm a special boy, me is not like the rest of the herd" and the others go and say its not that good just cause Tiesto isn't in Gouryella anymore... Fine, if you don't like the track, it's your right, just don't make the others read a message full of bulshit to go along with it...

The definition of "cheese" seem to be "I don't like it". "I don't like it, it's cheese" or "I don't like it cause it's cheesy". If someone doesn't like a track, he calls it cheese instead of directly saying "I don't like it"..

as to it being over-rated: it is now every1 keeps going on about it. wasn't over-rated when it came out.. and it IS one of those tunes you HAVE to hear in a club. tbh i didn't think much of pocket damage or ligaya.. untill i heard them in a club.

technically it's a f*ckin amazing tune.. it's just against current conventions of trance atm (with trance going a lot harder).. if this were released in 98 or 99 it'd go down as one of the all time greats and you all know it
