not tryna piss u off... i agree with u in some way, some artists have talent... but on the other hand, britney spears, umm... mandy, Jessica Simpson etc. etc.... do they not sound the same? what's sooo unique about them? what special talent do they have? IMO nothing except thet fact, they look good, can sing better than normal people, and that they got lucky, itz not like they all write their own music, (i know some of them do/did) but most of the stuff is written for them, they got lucky, not neceserily meaning they got talent, i hear their songs off MTV etc. than i see live performances on TV once in a while when i flick thru the channels... the voices on the clips are totally different to the live performances, just shows how much of their vocals is digitally enhanced, r u seriously telling me everyone goes there to listen to the music and not to just watch them change dresses every time they sing a new song?
i know though, some of them had worked hard previously, taking music lessons etc. etc. etc. working hard and all that but i would rather people who worked hard and have unique voices be in the mainstream industry.
IMO people like dido and some others that i dont know of, whos voices really do sound one of a kind... thatz true talent, and i hope they make it big coz they deserve it.
