And really wishing this whole yolo/pop/trouse/electro axis of blah blows over sooner rather than later. Just seems like the good old days ended so soon, when along came all of this fluff. I was always hoping for EDM to catch on in the US, on the level it did in Europe, but not in this way. Like someone else said, hardstyle is another genre catching on here, and while I like hardstyle myself (vs trouse and electro), kind of getting tired of it, lol, at least hearing it all of the time (at raves, for example; the alternative, usually, being not even classic trance, but trouse, like in the current trance scene) I want real trance to return by the end of the decade (since the trouse and electro genre dominance might be a decade-wide trend)if not sooner. Would not mind seeing a balanced US party culture, between trance and hardstyle parties, where hardstyle's pouplarity does not eclipse trance, nor vice versa.I know it does not work that way, just an idea, that's all.
