Yeah i agree. I seem to have missed the ticket for triple hormones when i went to university I think my hormones were more during junior high, anyways i dont really have time girls nowadays. I have to sort out my priorities, and grades come first, downtime second, where i hardly even get much downtime at all.


I dont really see much nudity and stuff around campus. Most postings are usually about events, selling stuff, educational, upcoming meetings etc etc. There is a play that happens each year called sexxy and its well, about, sex.

Over here I find attitudes towards sex are more mature at Uni. At high school people talked about it more - who did who at that party last weekend, who they plan to pick up next weekend, what they haven't tried yet, what they wanna try, what they're not going to try again etc... etc... etc...

At uni administration is much more open about it - there's "queer departments" in the union and every faculty. But sex isn't the dominant topic of conversation. If it comes up (pun not intended ) you can talk about it, but we definitely don't have naked posters etc...

I don't know about the triple hormones thing, around here most guys get over that phase at school. No offence but uni people seem more mature around here. When I hear about the fraternities and hazings that goes on at US uni's it amazes me - I can imagine that sort of thing fitting in with highschool-aged kids but definitely not at uni - we're adults for God's sake. Even when I hear about people getting pissed until they pass out at uni parties - I remember going through that at school (year 6 - 12). By this stage people just go out, get nicely trashed and have fun (occasionally someone will cross the line and chuck up, but not on a regular basis like we did at school).

i hear ya. im a computer science major, so to be honest, im usually in the lab or the math center all day, every day. i dont usually have time to hang out with friends once a week, let alone have a boyfriend or something. i fucked around (not literally haha) my first few years of university and it caught up with me, now i know what has to come first.

i hear ya. dont think that most people are as immature as the visible idiots at the U here.

another question tho - are you older than we are? a lot of Euro Us have slightly older attendees...does Australia?

Most people finish year 12 when they're 18, and turn 19 in first year of uni. I'm in 2nd year uni, and quite a few of my friends are still only 19... I don't know maybe its because we have a younger drinking age here. In most Austrlian states you can buy alcohol at 18 (funnily enough you get your driver's licence at the same age), but most kids start getting pissed at parties at around 15-16... a lot of parents accept this, mine used to buy me alcohol before parties when I was underage.
