Bad motherfucking ass, Jack. This is definitely my favorite mix of yours. I've been waiting for you to just bust out all the energy you can, because I knew you were capable. The liquid DNB, trance sets, and others were always good but didn't do it for me like this one did. I don't give a shit about the occasional wonky mixing, this whole set was bonkers. So many boss tracks, and the psytrance infusions were even better. Mad energy, mad acid, mad techno. I fucking love it. Excellent job. I kinda wish you hadn't tapered off at the end though, and just ramped up even more for one final explosion, but after 2 solid hours of diesel acid techno and chair-raving, my brain was pretty exhausted anyway. Nice work, dude. I would be a sweaty, adrenaline-fueled mess after hearing this set on a big system

Thanks a lot mate. Energy is definitely the word. I guess if one event inspired me recently, it was seeing Steve Lawler at peak time in a big club and then watching a DJ come on after him and just completely lose the energy in the room. We all went home early ranting about how it was so obvious what needed to be done: just fucking bang it! So I wondered to myself I could actually have done the right thing in that position. I know I'm never going to come on in a big club at peak time so I don't usually bother looking for that kind of track, but after that I started looking for some stuff.

And the ending is definitely incongruous, but that was kinda the point. I just found it quite amusing to end this mix with a thoroughly credible Detroit techno track subtitled "Live At Berghain". And I love it when a DJ mellows it out at the very end of a sweat-soaked set. Just a bit classier for me than trying to blow the roof off with the biggest anthem ever, even if the rest of this mix is thoroughly disreputable.

I am also highly amused to report that this is now gaining listens on Soundcloud from people searching for "Berghain techno". Mwahahaha.

Know the feeling of not getting into Berghain!

Going to listen to this as I've been craving some quality acid. Aside from Tinman, Hardfloor and Atom TM/Atom Heart I don't really know where to look.

Also, you mentioned 'lush future garage' - any recommendations for this genre? It sounds amazing.

Cheers
