As I expected, it sounds like the original but with PvD trademark beats and bass. Nothing special, really. Personally I prefer the original, with its fresh breaks and chill atmosphere.

The remix sounds ok with the added bassline but I think the original is way better. Thanks for the sample share.

I would tend to agree. The bass and melody seem to conflict somehow. It would fit into the rhythm of a PvD set, but by itself I don't find it as pleasing to the ear as the original.

hmmm its ok. Nothing special.

He has just changed it from being a track that can be played at the end of a mix to one which can be played virtually anywhere. Doesnt do too much for me.

You have to see the story behind that!

Paul like the original but it was not fitting in his sets, so the only thing he wanna do, was to give the song another beat make it a bit more danceable in a Paul van Dyk set! Thats all, this he said also yesterday in his radio show!

He don't wanted to make a really "Remix" of that song he just reworked it a bit!

Enjoy and opinions please.

Can someone tell me why people keep refering to Nothing But You AKA Arctic when they are completely different tunes ?

Unless I'm completely mistaken Nothing but You has a vocal that you can clearly make out and then kicks in and is hard as f*ck and Arctic just has a dreamy vocal over a trademark Van Dyk bassline ???
