They did 600 people closed around 9am. Richard passed away before the party battling cancer and wanted to go out with one last party. Only a few knew what was going on behind the scenes. Rip Richard. More parties may come as he had wished but we shall see and I have my doubts now that he is gone.

600 people is not a lot....

I think had people knew about it his death earlier in the week, more people have come out

I agree I thought they'd do 1000 or so, but the scene is so different now from every aspect. I knew there was no way they'd be open late either ESP noon that was a pipedream

From a friend who went she said the shows were top notch as you'd expect from a SF event but as already stated the club was dead and the music she said was awful. Exactly as I presumed it would be w that lineup which is why I passed. Very unfortunate to hear about Richards passing however.

If the club had been full I'm sure they would have stayed open that late but not with 600 people total

they cant remake the past. yes sf did put on prob the best shows i wont deny that. music wise it was an era in music but thats it, people and sounds have moved on
sad to see richard go R.I.P.
