But can you really compare any Trance tracks of today to something like Moogwai - Viola or Slipstream - Krakatao, from 14 years ago? The latter is what they played at Electric Daisy Carnival in 2000, as opposed to the Ping Pong Trance played there now. I've yet to hear something remotely as memorable or emotive, and I don't think it's only my nostalgia speaking. |
But those are not really uplifting, which I was referring to. For uplifting IMO it's not that different from e.g. Apoptygma Berzerk — Kathy's Song (Ferry Corsten Remix) 2001.
RAM & Stine Grove - RAMore also to me sounds like the anthem of a decade ago.
