this may be/is a really stupid question

but how do you mix in real time? i use(d) acid 3.0. and to my knowledge, its impossible to beatmap and have the other stuff playing/recording at the same time on that program.

please teach the ignorant, as this is something i wouldnt mind participating in.

pretty simple, u can't. mixing like that IS CHEATING. you have to use a virtual dj prog like traktor or vtt where the setup is very similar to cd decks. NO SEQUENCED MIXES. it even says it in the rules somewhere.

I'd like to enter this compo, but I don't use Traktor. I use MixMeister (no auto-bpm, it's utter shite anyway), but if that's a problem, then oh well....
