I SAID NICE ONE BROTHA

Also, if you want to hear something that is exquisitely mastered, with enormous dynamic range on every note--but is not, for the same reasons, dance music--I suggest Loreena McKennitt's The Visit. Or pretty much anything by Tori Amos--including Raspberry Swirl, which is absolutely dance music. Best ears in the business, they say.

Anything pre 2000 when only djs played the tracks. Compressed music sounds small on big speakers.i would disagree with cryo except I think he means edm for today's iPod delivery system. A 909 kick sounds tiny on normal speakers. Those hard kick drums sound big. The reverse is true on bg systems. This didn't matter considering the only people buying music were djs. The market place is now aimed at the end user. Djing is no longer relevant as it used to be.

Same reason why metal sounds so shitty on recordings. Guarantee a set with pre 2000 music on vinyl on a good pa where you can turn it up will sound better.

Hopefully that is the right one. I can't listen at the moment.
