Yeah, still haven't heard back on Discogs. Those requests on Discogs can take time though sometimes.

Hi mate , i had a conversation with Rolf Ellmer (storm) about that supposed "storm remix" he said dont know this tune , but he agree that its very close to "storm - storm" , here's some parts of his answers :

"Hi there, it sounds very much like Storm but it is sth else. But well made. Dont know what it is, I am afraid..."

"Oh, that's interesting. But I never did this track...it's different from the original but very similar..."

"Yes, definitely but for being a bootleg it has to contain sth of the Original but here it is not the case ....The melody is different...
But it's very close"
