The sane ones stick together but it's part of LA, and this sort of thing goes with the territory. As long as you don't believe the hype or get caught up in believing the bullshit, then it will never get to you.
you also have to realize that Hollywood is controlled by incredibly smart and shrewd people who know exactly what they're doing, and exactly how to spoon feed whatever they want to gullible people.
I have quite a few high profile friends and most of them laugh about the circus that is fame, and or simply use it as a tool to further their occupation based success. Bear in mind I'm not talking about the famous for being famous or youtube/instgram or reality TV people. Their only leverage is whatever fame they can drum up.
