to be honest, back in my younger days, bora bora/cafe del mar/cafe mambo - i always had this vision in my head of day parties right on the beach of epic proportion yet small and intimate.
it seems as if they've turned into washed down chiringuito some of which try to be white posh bed like environments.
lips still gets hit up for afters, beach house is also a nice day time spot with day time parties, but a strange thing I saw this year was the day time parties getting shut down by police. beach house and no name beach to name a few, also destino saw a lot of their day time events shut down due to permit reasons.
The destino issue I could see, Sa Punta is a very very expensive area/town with some really nice villas, I could imagine the wealthy people in those areas not want to deal crazy drunk people leaving the pool party driving down through the small back roads of sa punta all jacked up. With that being said, destino pool is gorgeous with some really hot bodies there.
back to lips/beachhouse really no clue for the change in policy but it seems consistent each and every week towards the end, things getting shut down.
mambo/del mar - idk caught a sunset there but it wasn't an epic Pete Tong sunset event that I had dreamed of when I was in my early 20s seeing in the videos about ibiza.
