I saw them at least a dozen times between 96 and 99 - hadn't heard them play blue fear once, and frankly they always played a lot harder than fluffy Dutch trance from experiences.

Could very well be but that they hammered it bit it's just not the specific deeper trance sound I always associated with them.

It's the last track on Northern Exposure 2. And most definitely not by Ferry Corsten.

Wait, you guys invented Dutch Trance before 1999? I have been missing something I guess.

Yeah, realised I wrote ferry when i meant armin. My bad.

Does anyone have any other live sets where they play blue fear? It's in the 140 range meaning that will be banging and I love those s&d sets.

It sounds like the progressive house/trance guys adapted by putting the slider to around +4 in Germany during those years.
¨

What a cracker of a set. And playing Lightspeed. Bomb. Simply a bomb.

They played like this live a lot more when it wasn't being recorded. Even at twilo late i.e. Early morning they would drop some plur trance. Great set this is btw. You can basically feel the drugs coming through lol.

I thought the first half of this set was great, and the second half terrible. They lost the flow and momentum they built up in the first hour and stared playing some really quesionable tunes.
