club is small so tickets will be about 20-25 before midnight might be cheaper. i think normal hours are 10-6 mistress will spin probably last two or three hours. im not sure though they dont tell you much.

i heard that the cops came in and forced evereyone out at around 3 am or so... aperantly they asked the owner/manager for a license for the club to be open after hours... he handed them a license for a 24 hour restaurant... the cops asked to see the kitchen... there obvioulsy isn't one, so that was the end of that night.

too bad for everyone who paid and expected to see miss b perform all night

btw i heard this from my bro who is taking crim at algonquin, his instructor is a cop and he told the class this story, so i dont know how truthfull it is.

no mention of it on techno xvi.. seems like everyone there had a good time. sounds like like the story got mixed up somewhere. i didnt go again *gasp*. ended up drinking, watching hockey and getting high with the boys. had a 580 dollar pro line ticket that almost won too. I had all six games by two goals haha fucking leafs only lost by one. letting me down again leafs! and pittsburgh losing to islanders.. who knew? was right on the rest of the games though.

Man, ive been reading this thread and i find it hilarious that you guys have no clue as to what Misstress Barbara spins!?!? I mean i know shes a rising star in the techno scene, but shes IMO next to Richie Hawtin, the BEST techno dj in Canada! Do me a favour people and see this girl! I saw her 2 weeks after i saw Mauro Picotto, and she had the same type of energy and great selection he had!! Shes an amazing mixer, and has great use of the FX. If you want to get an idea of what she spins, download Misstress Barbara - Essential Mix 2002, Misstress Barbara - Relentless Beats Vol.1 & Vol.2 Ive Seen her 3 times now, and plan on seeing her everytime she comes to Toronto.
