Military brat as well, 9 moves before I started high school (though I only really remember 7 of em). Another 5 doing the military thing myself later, and 2 after getting out. I thought that was decent but those are rookie numbers compared to some of you, damn.

Owning a place and no longer renting is the dream. Housing market is rough here but local roots (family, church, etc) are so far beating out moving away for cost of living, and we really like it here. Hoping to stay put for a while!

All the hype is real. Vienna is amazing. What a city.

Isn't it?! The transport is such a breeze.

One hour on the tube in London can feel like two. One hour here feels like 30 min. Easy connections, no waiting around long. Love it.

We blindly chose the neighborhood where we're living and it's perfect. Can't wait to move into our permanent home a few blocks down next month.

Shopping for furnishings has been exciting. Can't wait to get the decks and vinyl from London down here. Counting the days.

Coming from Crete, the winter will take adjusting, but I feel we've 100% made the right move so far.
