There are sooooo many tracks that are ruined for me because of vocals. I agree, 99% of the time vocals shouldn't be there. And if they are there, they should be used more as an instrument( As in James Holden - One For You, or PvD - Nothing But You). The meaning of the song shouldn't be there in words.
1)Jan Johnston - Flesh (Dj Tiesto Mix)
I never saw what everyone liked in the vocals, I thought they were utter crap! Shouldn't be there. I'd love to see a non-vocal mix.
2)Matt Darey Feat. Marcella Woods- Beautiful oh please
3)System F - Cry
all time worst though has to be
Planet Perfecto - Bullet in the Gun
SUCH a lush track, what shit lyrics!!!!! Her voice is terrible, amd what is she on about?! |
I totally agree on the cheesy thing.
As for Flesh, I think a lot of people just like Jan Johnston's voice. She is definatley one of the best trance vocalists.
Cry sounds like a cheesy house song with those vocals.
Bullet in the Gun, the girls voice sounds like crap, for the longest time I thought that it was a high pitched male voice.
