The whole point I was making was that whenver a US artist gets a trance remix, i.e. Moby, Madonna, etc. the remixer always gets called a "sellout" or "tool".
But whenver an oversees popstar, like Ayumi Hamasaki, gets a trance remix, people are amped about it. Look at Ayu - M (The EP), arguably one of the greatest Trance albums ever. It's nothing but remixed pop songs!
I understand that people think Tiesto is in it just for the money, but I just think he's trying something new. He's made millions, he's a worldwide star, what does he need to spend time remixing Madonna tunes for if he didn't want to?
