I hear all of you comin' up with some suggestions,but no real concrete answers,I think the easiest way to help him out is to send him the money ,through the old authentic(and yet still existing)mail,just put the money in an envelope and if simcut agrees,he could post his adress in thi sforum,and everybody(who wants) just send it too him,all rite you have got the additional stamp,but hey,what does that costs nowwa days!So simcut it's up to you.
But anyhow with all do respect,TA shouldn't become a sharity organization,I'm sure that Simcut isn't the only TA with financial probs

Other solution is(but there swamper will have to agree),take a few percentage (if that's possible) of the sale of the TA t-shirts,and donate it to simcut

Sim has already said he dosen't want poeple to donate a needle cos he'd feel funny about it and without him giving his address then we have a few difficulties actually getting it to him. Anyways i'll contribute if the idea comes to fruition.

I offered to send him some money, and he doesn't want that, maybe he changed his mind?? If he does, I'll sure send him money.

i never said the mixer/needle would solve all his problems.. infact its probably the least of his worries.. but he is a cracking DJ, and cracking DJ'z need to spin.. it can help releive a bit of emotion etc etc..

I just thought the gesture would maybe put a lil smile on his face and make him realise he isnt on his own

PvT's idea about the UK trancEaddicts doin it.. that would work fiver each wont put too much of a whole in my wallet
