Well, despite the technical problems (omg did the sound suck at the beggining lol) and a shaky start for me things went pretty good. I only got a decent groove on at like 10:10 . The bass in Mecha's set made my nutz tingle in my seat which was pretty cool heh. I was able to stay for a few tracks from armada which all kicked ass. It kinda sucks that I had to leave but I had to take my friend home up north to the richmond hill area and get some food before I starved to death.

Overall it was a great night and I had a blast! Met lots of cool TA people and listened to great tunes, i'm definatly looking forward to a future soire(sp?) where we can iron out the bumbs we had with this one. Thanks again to all the great DJ's last night, and to Hordash for hooking it all up. You'll have a chance to buy me that drink sometime i'm sure hehe.

My set consisted of the following (all hand picked while I was there to answer the above post)

Solar Stone - Solar Coaster (orig)
Oceanlab - Sky falls down (instru)
4 Strings - Diving (orig)
Silent Giants - Chance (instru)
David Forbes - Questions must be asked (magika)
4 strings - into the night (orig)
Solid Sessions - Janeiro (armin)
Signum - Second Wave (orig)
Future Sound of London - Papua New Guinea (marco v)
Fingers Burt - For a devil (orig)
Lolo - Melody (orig)
Capetown - Pitstop (orig)
Warrior - If you want me (orig)
Armin - Sunburn (orig)
Solar Stone - Seven Cities (armin)
Gouryella - Ligaya (orig)
Rank 1 - Awakening (orig)

Hey i made it for Turbulence, but endless wave told me you should head out to ordanel if durafrei is going since i wont be able to party for talla2xlc since i work the next day.!!

Although i met rubyriva @ ordanel. she's a cat
I agree with you el kay dee. i dont belive in cashing in for your friends to support them. it just underrates them. besides if you cannot make it dont say so or promise. thats my theory & it works.!

Yes i might try to head out for talla with some women from my workplace. They tell me cleary " I dont like techno music " i hate it when people actually make a muck of stuff they dont know about.

OMG !!! i know the right person to bring also from my workplace. thats if she takes up the offer.

If only I had the time to muster all my thoughts and feelings I’d be up until the morning writing up a reply; unfortunately due to school utterly owning my ass I’ll only take this chance to thank once again:

- ALL 5 DJS ! Precursor, Mecha, Armada, Eso, Kid Lax! You guys rock! The music was just absolutely phenomenal; it’s a crime that the premise wasn’t provided for the kind of mesmerizing sets you guys treated us with! The amount of talent in this community is phenomenal, this won’t be the last event the TA prospects get a chance to demonstrate their skills!!!

- Again a huge thanks to all of you who supported a trance music event in the city. Regardless if you stopped by on the way to the Guv or not, I’ll respect the fact that you came out to an event of your own community. All circumstances taken into consideration, it wasn’t all that bad, lots of letdowns but we’ve learned a lot for the next soirée

Halo if you think this was a conniving money making scheme, then you’ve missed the whole point… If you had heard the quality of the sets these boys dropped, I’m sure you would’ve deemed them way more worthy of the $0 you could’ve spent yesterday

Cheers

! E N T R A N C E verzion 2.0 is on the way !

Finally ... I'm on the net, just been busy all day today.

First of all great thanx to Hordash who made it all possible.

As for Mecha, I don't remember hearing such a good progressive set from anyone, and Armada you were wicked, speachless for now I'll guess I'll re-edit later when I come down lol.

Kid Lax, it was good to meet you finally, and spin with you, you did amazing, great talent.

LKD, thanx for the visuals and lending me that cable.

Well I got in little late around 8:30 had to do that vandit shirt which didn't come out we had little problems with sound but that got fixed thankfully, music was great all night long, for those who never made it, you missed a hell of a party.

Dj Percurser started the night off with great uplifting trance, thumbs up. Then Mecha took over with an amazing progressive set, made me dance. Armada, I can't remember hearing so many good hard trance tracks played in one set, great job, you and mecha got me dancing. Then it was me and Kid Lax playing a vs. it was something new for me, and I enjoyed it more then I could've imagined, Kid Lax amazing mixing and great track selection.

Most of all, we all thank for those who came supported, you guys were amazing, I'm speachless again.

For some reason I never get a chance to talk much on these events lol, so I missed out on a lot of TA's. It was good to meet you infinity_high, and those who I forgot the names, terrible memory I got.

Well this is not definetly the last Turbulance, it will happen again, and I hopefully with more support.

Once again great night, great memories

Peace, Love, and Unity

ESO

well I thought of creating a playlist before hand, but just decided to go with the flow instead, it's more fun and is more challenging this way!

Agreed. I have no doubts that...

(1) the sets were nothing but quality
(2) the price was free

Which trust me I would of been there in a second. I just start to get shivers down my spine when this board gets manipulated in a sense by which the term 'friend' is confued with 'customer'. Tu comprends? And by being free it doesn't mean someone isn't making cash from it somewhere (a la bar peut etre?). But to clarify I meant nothing in terms of hindering what 'you guys' are doing, keep up the good work.

The comments about the women are funny. Where are they? Shit man, they are out getting laid and listening to hip hop. The demographics are just that demographics, perhaps women are threatened by how many are here already. Maybe there is some fucked up correlation between mens brains and dance music. Who knows.

ummmmmmm the women are there it's just that at the parties like turbulence, the guys that show up don't bring them, they bring their guy pals to chill with (Desidel an I were talking about this, it is very true). I had some women friends but they were somewhere else and previously had plans otherwise I would have asked them to come to cityplace and hang out. :S That's why I had to leave early as well...however, they will ALL be at Tiesto @ Koolhaus. That party is going to be insane.

Sorry I didn't make it.. and I could have used my fix of trance that night, but I was just late everywhere, especially at Ice, where they were ready to kill me cause they had enough problems as it was and I wasn't picking up my cell when they were calling me
Maybe next time
