Cool ...Armin!!!

...whatever way I'm gonna see Armin play at hotdog -isis nightclub for a bankholiday special.I have not seen him play live and would'nt like to judge dj's without having seen them play at least once live as in my opinion that rush cannot possibly be recreated via cd,mp3...

I hope and Im sure tonight will be off the hook wether Armin is over promoted or not.

...3 mitsubishis later

Smoking ..umm..something ...SIGMAS FINAL THOUGHT

...to finish my piece on this show I would like to add that the sound selection, crowd and system play a big role in the performance ratings off dj's and don't think i have to colour in the picture, but lets if carl cox for some bizarre reason would be playing at some godforsaken place somewhere in the voids of nowhere with a .2k sys and crowd turnout hitting 25 i dont care who the dj is even kraftwerk playing live would'nt make the night or any recordings a scorcher...
...THANKs for listening.

I suppose it would have helped if i attached this to the right thread,I made the comment as the thread was going on about Armin van Buuren and that he is slightly over-promoted in some opinions.I have heard lots about the guy and heard a set on mp3 before, but never seen him live.I think a dj can only really be judged if the judge is there at the heart of the action live at the event not sitting at some terminal or playback machine in a room.Anyway forget that I went to Hotdog Bank Holiday Spec and Armin was to play according to the flyer, but he never showed as I kinda figured as Hotdog is not that big of a promoter.

Anyway I would like to make a point that it severly pisses me off how promoters state big names on their flyers and then change the lineup at the last minute,is this due to shitty promoters or unrealiable dj's???

Be Cool! Armin is GREAT

I think Armin is awesome.. If you took a poll, I'm pretty confident Armin would rank highly amongst trancers. His remixes are awesome and I really dig a lot of his original pieces such as :
Perpetuous Dreamer (aka Armin) - Sound of Goodbye
Alibi - Eternity

and like someone mentioned before, his remix of Viola turned a bland song for me into an awesome song. Armin is quality.. now if you're going to bash a DJ , please make sure his name consists of 3 letters which begins in with an 'A' and ends in a 'B'
)

I don't care what anyone says...ATB kicks ass...this dude up there saying that shit about starting with an A and ending with a B must be talking about someone else. ATB is on of the forefathers of modern trance..

peace,
SpellBound

HAHAHHA
atb sucks buddy, you realize that after listening to everything else after 9pm - till i come
and if you like it, then i bet you like zombie nation and storm - time to burn and york.

anyways im fucking SHOKKED that AvB did a remix of moogwai's viola, i guess i dont know jack about AvB.
but the original was awesome, a classic and different from the rest of the pack.
armin's productions seem to rival ferry's and tiesto's just give him time.
that universal religion mix of dido - aria or aria - dido
whatever the hell it is... WOW. one of the most epic-"sounding" tracks of all time, imho

Smile save your confusion

Aria - Dido (Armin Van Buuren's Universal Religion Mix)

spot on track by the way, always reminds me of 'summerbreeze' album!
