well it was a weird night for me. one thing for sure is that I won't go see Talla again, ever!

I loved seeing all the TA's out represnting. Although the vibe in the club was pissing me off. I had all kinds of people fucking doped out on God knows what trying to dance and almost passing out and constantly falling back on to me. Than later some moron hit me with the glowstick twice so i pushed him back as hard as I could.

Talla 2XLC = Tech-Trance
now that's bullshit. that was not techtrance. that was more like: let me fuck around with what ever the hell I want. Let me through in some trance, really cheesy epic shit, some hard trance and some techno as well. there that's what Talla sounded like.

It was a Trance Enrgy set copied almost exactly plus shit loads of anthems and cheese epic.

On the other hand about half the of the harder tracks he played I actually have on vinyl. So for me it was like I paid $20 bucks and listen to the same track I could have put in a better set at home. and that was kind of stupid of me to even expect for me anything out of him. I was expecting for him to play a fresh set, with new banging tunes. No cheesy stuff.... + the mixing for God awful for the most part, no offence but I could mix those tracks better than him......

here are the tunes I heard him play.

Viframa - Cristalle (Katana's Intro Mix)
DJ Albert vs. Precision - Say Yes (Katana Remix)
Andain - Summer Calling (Airwaves New Club Remix)
Svenson & Gielen - Answer the Question (Cosmic Gate Remix)
Gouryella - Ligaya
Talla 2XLC - Can U Feel the Silence (Original Mix)
Talla 2XLC - Can U Feel the Silence (Flutlicht Remix)
DJ Tiesto vs. Junkie XL - Obsession
Eon - Pocket Damage
In - Musika (Katana Remix)
Flash - Vanguard
Dariush - Ira
Dito - Sky (Talla 2XLC's Remix)
Colors - Voices In The Blue
Taiko - Silence (darren styles mix)
Poeppelbaum & Helmedach - 25.17
DJ Looney Tune - Workstation (Mike's Energized Remix)
Jan Johnston - Flesh 2002 (DJ Tiesto Remix)
Katana - Alesis
Signum feat. Katana - Third Dimension
Energy 52 - Cafe Del Mar (Marco V Remix)
Drax & Scot Mac - Angel (Katana Remix)
Gouryella - Walhalla

there were a bunch of other tracks that I can't think of them right now, cause I am trying to clear my head. that's cause for the most part the rest of the tracklist is full of crappy chedar tunes that I would not even know names too...

and just to make the record clear ask me, Stylez, Eso or Mecha, we will all tell you that he fucked up more than 6-7 times. I even remember how Eso was telling me, how in his opinion Armin can even school Talla.

And that digweed thing..... don't even get me started on it....

well and for my final thought: Talla played a variety of stuff, he fucked up quiet a lot and played a humongous about of old tracks.

My only highlight of the night was DJ Looney Tune - Workstation (Mike's Energized Remix) and that was just cause it's an old Bonzai classics, way back from 1995, remixed!

Tracks: 5/10
Mixxing: 4/10
Vibe: 4/10 - but only because TA's were there and there were a few nice girls around

oh and just one last thing to say, he could not get me dancing at all, I sure as hell tried though

Talla was awesome. Sure one or two fuck ups but whatever, Sasha had a fuck up slightly when I saw him, every dj does. And as for the "fuck digweed" thing. I didn't think it was appropriate but ah well who am I to say what ppl can/can't do. And yeah Em, I do remember seeing those 3 girls and these two asian dudes bugging them. Grrrrrrrrr. The brunette was REALLY cute... lol. And YES the e tards are annoying as fuck and I have a question..."WHY MUST THEY SIT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FUCKING DANCE FLOOR?!?!" If you're crashing MOVE to the side like everybody else. Anybody else catch that gino with the dark glasses/black t shirt just STANDING there the entire time! Why are you there if you're not going to dance. Ok granted if you don't like the tunes then move towards the side and let people who are enjoying themselves party/dance. I got sick of him being in front of me so I just went an danced right in front of him and he left. See you all at Tiesto (maybe).

Hm.. I guess you can say that a party went well, when the day after you feel dead.. Well, I'm not dead yet, but I sure feel like a handicap.. My feet don't move from all the dancing, but jaws can't chew from all the gum I was chewing, my mouth is all fucked up because of cigarettes and my brain is fried(I dunno why )..

I got to Viva pretty pissed off(see my complaints about Viva thread).. But then the party started getting better. Met LOTS and LOTS of TAs. Too many to mention names here.. I guess every non asian person who was there, got there through some assocation with tranceaddict. And there were lots of non-asians there that night.. Way more than at Marco V.. Quite a lot of girls too, which was a pleasant surprise. LOTS of Russians there too.. I guess we were 2nd in numbers there after chinese

Hartec was pretty good, though a bit too hard for my liking.. Talla came on. Initially I didn't like his set all that much, but slowly I got into it.. Dito - Sky(not the encore, but one he played in the beginning of the set) was the highlight for me. When he dropped that track I started running around the club informing everyone about the greatness of that track, as if it wasn't already obvious Overall an amazing set ! True too similar to TranceEnergy, but WHO CARES ?? According to everyone his TranceEnergy set was the best anyways, so it's a sin to be complaining ! Jan Johnson - Flesh(Tiesto mix).. WOW ! I fuckin' loved it !

Peter Ivals was amazing as well! Lots of great tracks ! Whoever left - you missed out ! he played Dark Monks - Insane (Steve Muruano Mix) from Dumonde's Trance Energy set.. I fuckin LOVED IT as well!

Special shoutouts to Motion, Tatgirl, Time2Burn, Nikish and my dear friends Artem, Leila, Steve and Tim ! You guys made my night !

BTW, Sooper get in touch with about Tiesto in MTL trip

man, i'm sorry that some of you didn't have that great a night. personally for me it was amazing (my word of the night ) and loved every second of it. having all the TAs there for my first was unbelievable. i just couldn't stop dancing.

i met so many people there i can't even begin to remember everyone! so many names! the TA meetup would've definately helped remembering them, but meh. i feel bad for not remembering people, but i know that i will see you guys all again soon. (tiesto hopefully)

first time at viva, and i was both amazed and appaled... amazed at how great the sound was (up until the bass was way up) and how awesome the visuals were. appaled by how many cracked out azns are there. some were 30-40 years old... wtf. but there was that hottie asian girl that nathalie pointed out to me, in a boxing sports bra or something with her tommy hilfiger undies showin, all done up. damn.

mirza, man, that shirt idea was hilarious. so many people commented on it, and then i would say, "we are twins, seperated at birth!" "are you serious?" ... "nawwww " hahaha.

i do admit, talla's mixing does leave something to be desired, but for the most part, hearing those tracks that he played on his TE set live did it in for me. amazing. sky... what a beautiful track. that made both mine and ilyias nite props to the russian massive too (artem, leila, eugene, and more people that i cant remember)

nathalie, i promised you'd be there for it and you were thanks so much for the company, and for just being you. **MUAH** the vibe that nite was unbelievable. i know i am running out of words to describe it, but jesus... awesome

emery, haha, jesus, everytime you talked, i could just see the happiness oozing from you man. i never did get to check out the lasers from the back though. next time for sure.

graham, damn right you came, and you loved it. everything from the hardstyle to the amazing tracks that talla threw down. i told you you'd have a great time man.

god... so much to say and not begin able to put it in words. all in all, i had a wonderful time. i haven't been clubbing much, and so some of you might scoff at this, but i give the night 10/10. it matched all the hype and more. for me at least. massive thanks to talla for signing the shirt, too (though trancearmada makes a good point - not a whole lot of tech-trance thrown down. but meh )

huge thanks to all the TAs that were there to contribute to a night that i will never forget

So many topics to talk about, so little brain power to work with...UGH! If my posting goes in a million directions, sorry- can't think too straight due to a lack of sleep.

Great TA attendance & vibe brought by all. Too many names to mention... Spent the entire nite making my rounds, & introducing 1 to another. Thanks to everyone for signing E*master's get well card. Sooper's comment was the best: "If I had a sister, I'd let you fuck her". LMFAO!!!!

I made it thru the nite without any damage to my new ta-ta's (and I really thought that asshole in the baseball cap was gonna be the jerk to harm me), until Aslan's sister Iris gave me a big hug goodbye at the end. Ow! Fir3start3r- thanks for the great welcome when I entered the room.

mot10n- congrat's on popping your cherry last nite. glad I was there for your 1st time. next time, we'll ride it out together til the bitter end. Also, thanks for touching my boobie.

*news flash*! Sooper is a farce. I had to spend 10 min's convincing him why he should touch my boobie. He is such a momma's boy, & I suspect his whole life is a lie. Wuss! He was happy afterwards, but man! Umm, ok- back to the party...

The set- definitely a lot more anthemic than I expected, but I had a great time regardless. I agree some mixes were pretty off, and the tunes a bit dated, but I didn't hate a single tune dropped. Other tunes that I don't think have been mentioned yet were that "Ezekial 25" track, and that remake of Queen's "Flash Gordon" theme song (< a major highlight!). Talla had a very nice stage presence in the booth, & seemed to enjoy himself quite well.

Ok, to clear things up about the "Fuck Digweed" thing- that was Hordash's idea. Ironically, it was the message that got the best reaction all nite. Of course, it was all in good fun. For those who took it seriously... lighten up a bit. This is Tatgirl, remember? The girl who tried to auction off the last tittyfuck.

I wanna say BOO ON ALL OF YOU for leaving after Talla was done and NOT EVEN saying goodbye- not a single one (except Endlesswave & others who stayed a bit longer). I spend all nite introducing you all, to get dissed like that? Miss Manners gives u all 2 thumbs down for that. Aside from that, Peter Ivals threw down a WICKED set, as always. You guys really ought to stick around to hear him- u guys missed him after Marco V too. I love that guy- he's soooo under-rated. He should put out a cd or something- I'd totally buy it. He was so good, he deserved the messages of "HOLY FUCK!" and "I LOVE YOU!" on my spelling toy. SICK SICK SICK!!!!!

Itikia- thanks for letting me in the back to meet Talla, for the pic with him, the drink, etc... Keep up the good work.

I think I'm forgetting a million things, but I'll wrap it up for now.
-Nat
