this track doesn't sound that cheesy to me. i like the synth of the main melody very much, i'd just change the melody itself a bit. it's quite epic, but i'd work more around the higher notes (like the way you start the second part of the melody), it will be more uplifting then. as it's been said it's a bit boring now, because the same notes come back.. oh yeah, and lose the bongos!

hope that helps..

Heya Wim,

The commercial factor's in there but I never really pay attention to that... It kinda fades away when those bongo things go away, they shoyld be seriously altered IMO, not enuff reverb, and the pattern kinda annoys me ... Soz.

Bassline seems quite alright and so is everything else till break...

The main theme is indeed a simple-anthemy styled melody but IMO it has a nice amount of magic (That's one of them cheesey components )

Energy and everything seem OK but the melody seems to fit best to a chilled/breaky kinda track...

I wouldn't call it cheesy and it definitely lives up to the Lightworks reputation

When are we gonna hear a new Infinite Streams track?

I didn't find the track particular cheesy, but the melody did nothing with me. Well produced as usual, but I do agree with some of the points made earlier in the thread. The bongos didn't sound that good. I'm not against bongos in general, but i guess I didn't like the samples that much. The main synth could also be a tad fuller, as i think that would suit this kind of track more.

Peace

Thx for further comments peepz, i'll up a newer version soon, it's more finished, but i might still have to get lost of those bongos then... they've been edited with quite some effects this time though.

oDrori : I was wondering the same thing about a new Infinite Streams tune... perhaps I'll get to it soon... I'll see

Take care,
Wim/LW
