I've had an MD for 6 years now . I love it to death....I finally got Best Buy to replace my old school one with the new MD that you plug into your computer...AWWW PURELY AMAZING!!

seee, this is what i think is BULLSHIT.

i bought my MD player mostly to record sets with my decks and mixer. I've paid for all the records, and supported the artists. of course, there is no way for digital technology to find out that i have done so, so i am SOL.

luckily i can still use analog transfer, but i still think that sony's decision here sucks.
