Got there around 2:30am (just after the new year was rung in) and it was banging right from the start. Im not too sure of who was spinning, but it was unreal!! I think it was J-Prez, not sure but that name rings a bell. Played nothing but banging tribal/dark/house, except for his last song.....Rendez-vu - basement jaxx!!! I havent really listened to that song in a long time, but holy shit did it sound amazing on those speakers!!! (i was rollin pretty hard too). When Addy came on, thats when the real madness began. I dont know why it is, but everytime im at comfort zone, no one seems to bring it as hard and as dark as Addy. He was fusing his sound of dark bongos and heavy percussion with twisted melodies like ive never heard him do before. But keep in mind this is also when the club turned into a human sauna. It was around 9am when the club was just ridiculously packed, it was also the time when the guv shirtless steroid boys showed up all greased up. barf. Anyways, the music in there that day was good enough to almost forget they were even there. In case you were there, i was in a plain black t-shirt, with a black phat farm hat dancing all around the front (by the dj booth). Stayed til 1230 in the afternoon, sprained my ankle dancing so hard......ears are still ringing. Note to self *buy ear plugs for next comfort zone outing) Peace.

Music 11/10
Crowd 8/10 (best crowd ive ever seen there imo)
Club 4/10 (so hot, so rammed, so smokey)

Man, was that a sick night or what... I got there around 2am (on wednesday morning) and Dekoze was ripping the place up. That guy is as entertaining to watch as he is to listen! Around 3:15am J-Prez came on, and started of just a bit mellow but picked it up in his 3rd/4th song, and from there on it was just crazy... and when Addy came on, oh my god, that was it... MADNESS! I am telling you right now, that guy is Toronto's best kept secret!

The crowd was all right, plenty of mashed and sketched out people, but hey, it was New Year's, it's understandable...

Too bad I couldn't recover on time to re-visit Comfort Zone later that day to catch Kenny G and the rest of the crew. But I believe it was just getting better and better in there... oh well, hope you guys enjoyed it as much as I did!

All in all, an amazing night...

P.S. --> Happy New Year, everyone!
