While i don't have anything concrete about this.. one of my british teachers at our school did indeed say that black people from american vs. the ones in london are quite opposite; everything from morals, manner of speaking, etc. etc. He even went as far as saying that, in general, black people in america haev a lower work ethic compared to the british ones... hmmm...

and btw, i do use that word jokingly with my friends (i.e... "That nigga STOOPID... or.. Berey, take off yo hat, nigga)

A good friend of mine is a black dude who recently moved to the states from the UK, and it's definitely true from what I've seen.
