He may have sampled from some obscure classical pieces, but that string line in 'lux aeterna' is a lil' too repetitive and cliche'd to be considered classical music. at most, maybe 20th century/contemporary classical music. random piece of info: lux aeterna means eternal light in Latin...fitting eh?

my favorite classical piece at the moment: Rimsky-Karsakov "Scheherazade Op. 35, 2nd mvt". imo, no classical piece tells a story as moving as this.

i know clint mansell composed the music along with the kronos quartet...the strings were sampled from mozart's requiem mass..the piece that was sampled was from a part called lux aeterna "perpetual light was the translation i heard"

Trance has made my ears 'bigger' or in other words more attentative therefore has made me appreciate classical music

What do you ppl think of what Mozart, Beethoven's opinion of Ferry Corsten's productions would be? or quality trance music in general? What would they say about it?
