Cockney rhyming slang - There are lots of words that make up cockney rhyming slang. These are basically rhyming words like "butchers hook" which means "look". If you are in London and you hear someone talk about a Septic they are probably talking about you - because it's short for "Septic tank" which equals "yank", which is our word for an American. How do you like that! For more details there are lots of sites dedicated to this subject, including this one.

don't mean to be funny, but noone on earth talks like that spastic in Oceans 11, it's the worse piece of diologue I've ever heard in film. But I bet you thought, those damn brits and they're funny speaking, makes me want to play some soccer

Dont just believe what you hear it american programs. Most English people in American programs are played by Americans. Or english people, told to talk in a 'royal' accent.

No, its different.
Whats really strange about Britain is that its quite a small country, yet it has so many regional accents, that are very different and easy to tell apart. As large as america is, Americans seemingly can't find out where someone lives from their accent. Liverpool is only like 30 miles from manchester but they have very different accents!
