Hey Az,

Here's the update:

After posting this thread, I spent the rest of the summer of 2003 (that would be the winter for you though), working on the tune and in a couple of other tunes. Then the soap opera began. As soon as I installed new plug-ins, download proper drum loops and started to work on more layers, I found out my Pentium 600Mhz was more limited than I expected it to be. However, during the carnival, I had installed a small studio in the guest's room here at home and almost finish two tunes (White Autumn, which was the future of Ayako, and Hedgehog's Theory, which is a psychedelic trancestep tune). Once again, a little bit of mastering was all I had to work on, and then my computer decided it would be fun not to ever save projects again, and reset Fruity Loops everytime I ran it. After a massive sequence of re-installations and whatnot, I decided to focus a bit more on my musical knowledge (i.e. study theory and learn about other genres) till I could re-format my computer (which I shared with other family members, and couldn't take such drastic measures for this reason).

I re-formated my computer last week (both my sister and my brother bought their own computers last February). I'm looking forward to re-installing the softwares this weekend. And, in case I can't use this computer, I've already saved money during this couple of years, and I might as well buy myself a proper computer.

I'm really annoyed that it took this long to sort things out, but hopefully things will work out now But I'm happy to know you still remember about the tune

I don't know what happened to DJ Ande, by the way

here's wat i think:

1: i love the beginning, everything before 2:00 - 9/10
2: ahhh why did u have to turn into some trance-ish song? - 7/10
3: well since it went from BADASS to SEMI-BADASS (LoL) I'll tell what u think...
4: everything sounds till 3:50, the hi-hat sample you use, sounds to weak, mangle that shit with some filters or change it to something phatter (cuz it kinda ruins it) 4/10
5: Another thing, if your percussion, was more PHATTER, and BASSIER, this would be a TOP-KNOTCH 10/10 track... I dunno that's just how i see it, I love bassy stuff 6/10
6: this could be good, i mean FUCKING GOOD, if worked on MORE n MORE n MORE

in my books this is a 8.7/10 track!

k bye
