I said it before and i'll say it again, in 2 years it should be even, if we pick this team
Trescothick
Vaughan
Bell
Hussain
Foster
Collingwood
Flintoff
Jones
Giles
Anderson
Harmison
Caddick may have had wickets but he was expensive and blows hot & cold, mainly cold, Flintoff will be fit, giles without broken finger, Anderson is looking good already, Jones when he's fit again, Foster has to replace stewie behind the stumps, 42 will be too old, Hussain as capt, maybe even Tres, Collingwood can bat but also bowl if needed and Ian Bell is our best young batsman

I think in the near future TRESCOTHICK will captain the England side, and we will start selecting more youngsters as we'eve learnt from our mistakes from the last 5 or so years that you can't fill a team with old twats! I also don't see GILES is the answer in our spin department, neither is DAWSON. Giles is getting on and Dawson certainly doesn't look test class. There is other young spinners werth a looking at.
The Barmy Army are the best supporters in the world of cricket by 950 miles!! There is no other test nation that takes any where near as much support to watch an away test match than England does, and fuckin excellent support they were.
Regarding FOOTABLL! There is no a fucking chance you Aussies will beat us!! (Quote me on this!!!) James Beattie!! Look out for the name you Aussies. This man is top class! Id Sven doesn't pick him someone needs to have words in his ears.

James Beattie was Alan Shearers Bootboy when Al was @ Blackburn, basically he is taller than shearer, and has the yard of pace that alan once had, and that he lacks now to make him a candidate for us, but he is shit hot in the scoring charts, and could be a great foil for owen, rooney or whoever gets picked, forget heskey, this man knows where the net is

yay!
go england!
it was good to see them coming back in the last 2 tests! i was hoping vaughn would do well and kinda hoping england would win! like steve waugh said, they just capitalised more on the opportunities. i agree with some of the comments about no young players, this side won't last forever. but then again, they keep winning so there isn't a great argument for change! i guess this means that a whole generation nearly misses out on test selection as the next best players at the same time aren't given a go because they aren't needed. hopefully theres some good talent waiting in the wings...
go poms!
hmm
listening to the abc, and channel 9 i think, they weren't too sure on hussain being captain, they didn't think he made the right decisions and field placings some of the time.
