I guess every sex has its own advantages.

Anyway, about different people seeing differently, I myself also had same thoughts about it, most likely everybody had, but I dismissed it.

Few reasons for it, but basically it's because we usually react to the same stimulations equally, and our bodies and brains are physically too similar to allow such differences.
For example, everyone agrees that red looks warmer than blue. Now, you may say that it's because people are thought to think so. But, if you introduce green color into the equation, everyone also thinks it's cooler than red, but warmer than blue. Here, if everyone percieves colors differently, to someone it would look warmer than red, or cooler than blue. The only option you have left is that someone sees the spectrum in reverse. And I think that's highly unlikely.

If you broaden that claim onto other senses, you see that it does not make much sense. As trance_n_dance said, some things just don't taste good to anyone, and if everyone had different senses, shit might taste good to someone.
Perhaps minor variations are existent, but large scale ones, like someone seeing all the colors completely differently than you are very unlikely.

Also, girls see about 50 times more colours as guys do and there are approximately 186,000 colours on the colour wheel. That's why when your girlfriend asks you "do youlike THIS red or THAT red better" you can't tell the difference. But WE can.

I really doubt that. Have any proof of that?

like for example hearing, what if high frequencies sound low to other people and vice versa?

Now, that is very unlikely also, because look at how you react to very high and very low sounds. Very high sounds hurt your ears, and very low ones don't, they're actually shaking your whole body. If someone percieved those sounds other way around, his ears would hurt when there was a very low pitch, while he'd feel a trembling sensation when a high pitch was played.

u cant describe colors.

yes you can. for example, yellow-greenish color is light with wavelength of 550nm.

Another interesting tid bit of info is that different cultures see and describe different colours.

For instance certain "tribes" in indonesia (the To-Pamona) do not distinguish "yellow" and "green". Therefore to them they are exactly the same colour.

Language is key to understanding the world around us. Another example is how the Inuit (eskimos) have 7 different names for different types of snow.

nanometer - really small lenght

wavelength - you have a wave, and measure the distance between two peaks

Damn, stupid program, it automatically removes excess spaces, so the wave looks distorted. Oh, what the hell.

In your retina you have photosensitive cells. When a photon hits one of these molecules, it gives up a free electron. If enough electrons are freed, a neuron will fire (rod or cone). There are 3 types of cones (R G B) which are responsible for colour perception and depending on which wavelength of light is received, a different one will fire. A neuron can only report how much it has been stimulated. This is where the brain comes in. In the brain lies knowledge about the sensitivity curves for each cone type and it uses this information to deduce which colours are being perceived. I imagine this cannot be exactly the same for every person.
